Discover culinary Nuremberg

What could be more appropriate than a culinary-themed city tour during a break between two conference modules? Shine the spotlight on the history of red beer, the production of the famous Nuremberg bratwurst or the spicy Lebkuchen gingerbread.
A beer-themed tour will take you and your participants to historic underground corridors, some of them up to four floors deep in the castle sandstone. These corridors remain cool in summer and have always been ideal for storing beer. It is not absolutely certain whether red beer has its origins in Nuremberg or Belgium. This themed tour is a great introduction to the world of beer and ends with a tasting session.  
Go in search of the famous Nuremberg bratwurst and enjoy a tour of the picturesque and popular alleys by the River Pegnitz. Whether it is served in a "Weckerl" (bread roll) or on a plate, you will come across this speciality everywhere you go in Nuremberg. For those with a sweet tooth, we recommend a course devoted to baking another traditional Nuremberg speciality – the Lebkuchen gingerbread – in combination with a whisky tasting session.
